The Hugh Lane Gallery was a total surprise. Great museum with art from various art periods. We especially liked the Francis Bacon studio...and the touch screen kiosk at the end of the show showcasing his history. It was amazing! The Ellsworth Kelly piece in the gallery was great too. After the hustle-bustle of Connolly street, treat yourself to this small modern art gallery just up the street from the Garden of Rememberance. We were especially enchanted by the stained glass display just inside the entryway, with the Eve of St. Agnes by Harry Clarke. A nice, quiet alternative to the larger attractions in Dublin. more
