We just walked the grounds but did not go in, due to wanting to see more of the city. It was very peaceful and we may take the tour of the inside next time.

Don't make a special trip to see this cathedral unless you MUST see where Jonathan Swift now resides. This cathedral was a major disappointment and I really wish I hadn't paid to see it. Strangely, there's a gift shop within the church that sells shot glasses (weird!) There was a guided tour that happened to start while I was there,...

We visited many churches & cathedrals while in Ireland and this one has to be my favorite. The history and the beauty inside is great!

Beautiful Cathedral inside and out. The park beside it was also lovely and a great place to relax.

Very interesting place and well worth a visit and the fee. If you have the time, take a guided tour for all the details; the free brochure gives lots of info, though.
As the title here says, I found the Cathedral's contents to be more of a historical nature than religious, however. Still interesting and enjoyable. Some of the monuments...

I did not do the guided tour, for reasons that fail me now. I really should have. The cathedral is much smaller than I expected but it's crammed to the rafters with bobbles and flags and figures and all sorts of things to see. So do stop by but treat yourself to a guided tour. You'll learn a lot more.

The church is beautiful, the tile floors are a work of art. If you are in Dublin, Ireland take the time to see this very old Cathedral. There is much history in the Church.

Its a pretty church, built in a style found all across Europe. I have seen better examples. Great to breeze thro ugh, but don't spend tons do time. In my opinion, there are much better things to be seen and done around Dublin.

Like The Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral is another place that is listed a "must see" in nearly every Dublin guide book you will come across. St. Patrick's offers a chance to see the entire cathedral and there are bits and pieces that you will find interesting in themselves. There's, naturally, stained glass, statues of historic Irish figures, flags...

Terrific cathedral with so much history. If you're lucky, the boys choir will be practicing and sounds amazing. Terrific architecture. Wonderful garden.
