It's a must do if you go to Ireland/ Dublin, beautiful Church just down the road from Christ Church, every Church brings in there own uniqueness, we did pick up our rosaries there to give to the religious people in the family. more

The cathedral is very beautiful, there is a big garden in the back, take a stroll, some pictures :) The admission was a little bit on the expensive side, but it's nice inside. Though there is a shop inside - strange, but you can take a picture and show to friends and family how funny it is :) But go... more

Lots of stained glass, statues/sculptures, and the choir was even practicing while we were there. The only bad part is, they charge for admission. Could not get pictures of the altar due to choir practice. more

We visited Ireland in June 2009. The Cathedral was very picturesque and worth visiting. However, this is the only cathedral I can remember ever visiting that charged an entrance fee. more

6th February 2009 We so enjoyed the experience of St.Patricks with all its artifacts and history. It gave me personally the chance to be quiet and pray which in this current life times of ours seem like intrusion but the stillness of prayer felt within these walls gave me some peace. A dear friend of mine namely Sheila Bowen has... more

We had read much about this cathedral, but did not feel it lived up to our expectations--we thought Christ Church Cathedral was more interesting and better maintained. This is an historic building, but seemed somewhat run down. There are many sculptures and artifacts to see and the choir area is interesting. You cannot get to the rear to see the... more

Very nice Cathedral, although it seemed odd seeing the gift shop situated more or less out in the open in the back of the Cathedral. Thought the admission price was a little steep too. Very nice, but it certainly felt a bit "commercial." more

It’s a nice cathedral but I did expect something more grandeur as it is much spoken of. You do have to pay to visit the cathedral which was a bit odd as it is a church. There is a small gift shop inside that could use some friendlier staff. The park off to the side is very pretty and good... more

It really is an amazing piece of work - as so many cathedrals are. I can't really give a good description, but go and see for yourself. Lots of monuments to various personages (Jonathan Swift the most famous) and some military units. And take note of the stained glass windows. more

I loved St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was my favorite attraction in Dublin. The grounds are well kept and clean and you can roam through the church at your own leisure. It costs about 8 Euros to get in but I think it's worth it. You can also take pictures inside which you can't do at most cathedrals. They give you... more
