A fascinating place to walk, look and drink in (in both senses!). We went at dusk in summer. Lots of people were milling around happily, musicians were playing in pubs and on the street, the lights were coming on and there was a hint of mist on the Liffey. What a wonderful part of the city! It's not a bar by the way.....it's LOADS of them! Cobble stoned and pedestrianised, there isn't really a better place! We found a great little bar (second floor) that had live music on...no cover! More

No matter what you do, Temple Bar is a must see. Yes, it can be full of tourists, but that's because it's an icon and everyone knows its the place to go for a pint and great atmosphere. Service was great and food good too. Go. You won't regret it. More
