The IFI is a super bolthole in Dublin City centre. In the famed Temple Bar area it it avoids the hustle and bustle and is an oasis of calm.
Besides its wonderful programme of films old and new, it has a very nice restaurant/bar serving good wholesome food at reasonable prices. Dont miss it

I went with one friend to see War Horse and loved the place. It is an old townhouse and retains much of the features - plenty of exposed beams and brick. It's airy and has a cafe area, restaurant area and a bar area so you can take your pick of what atmosphere you'd like. There is also seating upstairs...
