This is a fantastic place to visit. New and unusual films. Nice comfy seats and good angles. Lovely buzzing meeting area and lovely coffee area with pleasant staff who are always helpful. More

The IFI is a super bolthole in Dublin City centre. In the famed Temple Bar area it it avoids the hustle and bustle and is an oasis of calm. Besides its wonderful programme of films old and new, it has a very nice restaurant/bar serving good wholesome food at reasonable prices. Dont miss it More

The Irish Film Institute (usually referred to as the IFI) sits in the heart of the Temple Bar area and with the Lighthouse cinema having ceased to exist (though I believe it may soon return) it is Dublin's, and possibly Ireland's finest arthouse cinema. The IFI screens a great range of films, so if there's something unusual you're looking for... More

You will see more art housy filsm here and they have a bar that does food as well which is reasonable. It's a great spot I think and I woudl recommend. On Eustace Street. Walk right in,no membership required despite the official sounding name! More

I went with one friend to see War Horse and loved the place. It is an old townhouse and retains much of the features - plenty of exposed beams and brick. It's airy and has a cafe area, restaurant area and a bar area so you can take your pick of what atmosphere you'd like. There is also seating upstairs... More
