The National Gallery is a free attraction in Dublin! It was pouring the day we were in Dubin. We happened across the National Gallery. Hey, let's go inside and see some great art and dry off for awhile. Well, we stayed about 2 1/2 hours. We loved it! There is a cafe there, but we didn't go in. They have... More

The exhibition space is tiny whilst the gallery is undergoing renovation, but there are so many gems to make a visit worthwhile. And don't forget the cafe - brilliant food and service! I had a simple quiche with three very fresh salads for 11.5 euro. Terrific! More

We always visit national museums, and this one was standard. Except ... free children's art classes on Saturday afternoons. It made the trip worthwhile and elevated our experience. Happy children, happy parents. Was very grateful. More
