The museum is pretty small, but extremely well made. I took the JJ general tour (they also have a Dubliners tour), which was excellent. The guide was an expert on JJ and provided us nonstop information and pretty in-depth considerations on the author. Absolutely nothing to complain of.

We booked a guided walk for the 4 of us - highly recommended if you have any interest not just in Joyce but in Irish history and the development of Dublin. Our guide was a Masters student at Trinity College and really knew her stuff. It was 90 fascinating minutes. I will recommend it to every one I know who's...
