O'Neill's is a great place to experience Irish pub atmosphere. It's right in the center of Dublin, a short walk from Trinity College and Temple Bar. However, since it's not technically on Temple Bar, the drinks are slightly cheaper (pints for 4.50 rather than 5). I can't comment on the food, but the Guinness was spot on. Visited over St....

This is right in the centre of the tourist zone just a few minutes walk from Trinity College, Grafton Street shopping and opposite the new Tourist Information Office now in a converted church.
There are so many nooks and crannies in which to sit so take you pick but beware on sports match days the place is packed to standing...

If you want a cozy, bar in the heart of Dublin, go here. The food is spectacular. We recommend The Guinness Stew and any of the wonderful sandwiches...esp the Triple Decker sandwiches!

We had lunch here on 30th November. This is a traditional pub, trying to be a super pub. There is an extensive menu there but very little of it and how it is served looks appetising. The staff were appalling though, particularly one guy, I think he was a manager, an east european chap, who gave off to some people who inadvertently...

We went to O'Neills twice during our short stay in Dublin. It's a large premises, so even when it's busy there's a chance you'll still be able to get a seat. There's a good range available at the bar. We didn't try the food, but the carvery looked great.

We loved O'Neill's and found ourselves there all three nights we were in Dublin. It was recommended to us by a local and we are so thankful! They have great live traditional music on the top floor, which we loved. We met the best people while just sitting, enjoying a pint, and listening to wonderful music. They also have a...
