We all met at the Oliver St. John Gogarty pub in Temple Bar for the “TRADITIONAL MUSIC PUB CRAWL”. We were escorted upstairs to our own private bar, where the 2 locals chatted, played some jigs, and gave us a feel for their music. The group of us strolled over to the Ha Penny Bar for more music and fun....again... more

I would sum this up by saying it is not a true pub crawl. It is more of a concert and educational lesson that changes venue part-way. The same musicians played at each pub. To me, "pub crawl" means you hear different musicians at each pub. In this event, the same musicians travel with you to the pub and play... more

Cannot understand how this is rated no 2 for things to do in dublin, were we missing something?? For a start one of the 2 irish musicians was from Nottingham! And the other Irish Musician looked thoroughly bored and sleepy. The pubs had no atmosphere -we were in rooms upstairs that resembled a village hall. The evening never got going... more

My husband and I had a lot of fun on this Pub Crawl our first night in Dublin. You can purchase tickets in advance from the Tourist Information Center on Suffolk Street. You can also purchase them at the start of the tour, but it books up fast and you may be turned away. The cost is 12Euros each. The... more

This is a fantastic night out and I thoroughly recommend it. Make sure you book early either by booking through the Tourist Information place (in the old church near the Molly Malone statue) or by getting to the meeting point by 7pm. You meet on the 2nd floor of Oliver St Gogarty's pub in Temple Bar. 7:15pm is the official... more

This is certainly worth doing - worth every penny! Musicians were talented and knowledgeable and towards the end, the audience gets to......OK no I won't spoilt it for you! The only downside is that the pub which is initial meeting point, is simply vile and stank something chronic. But once we moved to the first part of the crawl, it... more

This tour was GREAT! We absolutley loved the tour. THe musicians were very entertaining and informative. The music was great, and the history was better. We would recommend this to anyone going to Dublin. We are still singing the songs and even bought the CD. It was a highlight of Dublin! more

What a great Irish evening! We did this crawl as an afterthought on our last night of the trip. It was a great way to enjoy the spirit of Ireland. The musicians were talented and amusing and we all had a great time. I was surprised at how much more fun I had on this crawl than the literary crawl... more

The best night we had in Dublin was on this tour. The musicians were amazing and we didn't stop laughing from start to finish. We visited a couple of pubs away from the traditional Temple Bar area and were the able to fully experience the ways of the Irish, the music was amazing and the atmosphere was one of the... more
