The Bank of Ireland building is a great (litterally) and beautiful one reminding all of Dublin of the colonial times. It is centrally located, so it is hard for any tourist not to see it (and rightfully so). Especially at night this building is worth having a look at with it's lighting

just a heads up...I have traveled the last three weeks and it has been harder to cash the Ben Franklin $100 usd bill as well as the George Washington one. Seems that they are suspicious of counterfeit. If you travel with money break the bills down before you come. Never had this problem before.

The staggering building that contains the Bank of Ireland is huge! Great columns and intricate detailing provide an interesting and impressive façade. Being opposite Trinity College, the bank is in a great place for tourists to enjoy and snap off a few photographs. Worth a look.
