The Christ Church Cathedral definitely had more to offer than Saint Patrick's, however, I thought it was extremely strange that there was a coffee shop and gift shop in the "crypt" Strangest crypt I had ever been to. There was a nice educational video in the crypt that gave the history which was interesting but I don't think I would...

This is a gorgeous cathedral and not to be missed! To avoid overcrowding, visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon. A really special treat is to attend on of the Evensong services. If you want a church tour it's 6 euro, if you want to go to the bell tower, it's a different trip and 4 more euro. ask ahead of time. The crypt is very cool.

I had come to Dublin 10years ago and was impressed with christ church.. The crypt specifically. This time not so much, it has been transformed into a tourist trap with a silly cafe in the crypt. After spending time in Rome and Italy the church doesn't impress me anymore although it is lovely
