Visited Dublin Zoo yesterday and absolutely loved it. I think entry is 15 euros per adult but well worth it. There is a big variety of animals who all looked really content and happy. The zoo is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. It is a huge walk. I think we spent about 2 1/2 hours in total but we... more

Dublin Zoo is easy to reach from Dublin itself via public transport. The Zoo has real potential, there are some amazing and rare animals like the Snow Leopard, Red Panda etc... The problem was, the size of the Zoo. It is enormous, the person who claims he walked round in 40 minutes must be superman. Now, you may be thinking... more

I had so much fun when me and my partner went to Dublin Zoo in February. Its not expensive in comparison to the other attractions in Dublin and a whole day is needed to really appreciate and experience everything there. Its very educational learning about the animals and they re so uch fun to watch. Feeding time with the tigers... more

Visited the zoo on Good Friday and it was quite busy. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Not sure why they open the zoo to the public as it is set up to hide the anilmals away from view. Waste of money and thought the animals we did see looked sad. Hope the money we spent goes towards the care... more

I spent the whole day at the zoo and there was plenty to look at. The zoo is massive and has lots of different animals. The walk is pretty substantial so be sure to bring you walking shoes!! I loved my day at Dublin Zoo! more

Best thing about Dublin zoo was the weather!! We were out in 40minutes!! It was terrible, i was very very dissapointed! Having been to Belfast and Edinburgh, i thought that Dublin would be of the same standards, it was nowhere near! It was shabby and dirty. With a lot of the pathways overgrown with bushes. Most of the enclosures that... more

I read some of the reviews prior to going there and was sceptical. I and my 5 and 8 years old arrived after midday on bank holiday Monday and were directed to get our tickets through the prepaid or members only entrance, hence no queues. It seemed that everyone who had children was there but at no point did it... more

It involved a lot more walking than we anticipated, most of it being meadering as we tried to find our way around! There didn't seem to be enough sign posting showing you which road to take to which attraction and we didn't find the leaflet they gave at the entrance good either. The way the animals are kept there is... more
