There are three exciting exhibitions; Viking Dublin and Medieval Dublin recreate the city through life size reconstructions, including a Viking house and a medieval fair while Death and Disease are also investigated. Finally unearth the city’s past at the new interactive History Hunters exhibition, visit an excavation site, and see medieval bugs under the microscope in the Lab. See Dublin from a new perspective and come away knowing more about its citizens throughout the ages! « less

We went here to see the history of Dublin, and I thought it was priced to high for such a small museum and very little interaction with the exhibits. Very informational though. More

Very cute exhibits with many child-friendly activities. Be prepared for some (literal) toilet humor! More

Enjoyed the history but rather dry to try to take in. More

Great museum about vikings, medieval life and the work of archeologists. It is worth every minute you spend there with children. More

But a good insight into the Viking infiltration of Ireland. The exhibits are well put together to explain the Viking history of Dublin but lack the wow factor. More

Went with my Mom since it was included on the Dublin Pass. Didn't expect much. A little cheesy but quite informative and worthwhile. Surprise! More

This can seem a bit cheesy at times, but it is very interesting and educational. It is clearly aimed mostly for kids - and they will have a great time - but it can be interesting for adults as well. It explains a lot about early Dublin history before, during, and after the Vikings. We learned a lot we did... More

Pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit. Our History To Life weekends, where we have our live interpreters of Viking and Medieval characters, are running all summer so you must have ran into them in Dublinia, we like to think they make the experience a little bit more real for all our visitors! Many thanks for your review. More

My students loved it, I found it just OK. That was the idea of going there. In any case, we'll come back next year: it's educational and kids learn a lot about Viking and Medieval Dublin in a fun way. More
