IMMA is a fun place. The unique surroundings of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham stage the art in innovative and exciting ways. Check out the visiting exhibitions and for now make sure that what you want to see is open between Nov 2011 - December 2012. More

A fine collection of contempory art displayed in The Royal Hospital Building a short distance from the City centre. The building set on extensive grounds was originally built as a hospital and retirement home for soldiers in the 18th century and it was restored in the 1980's and is used as a venue for State occasions. Visit the Chapel. More

The Irish are not entrenched in the past. This culture is vibrant, progressive and rich. This museum collects and informs on the wonderful modern art that has been collected and made in Ireland. If you enjoy thought provoking art, come her. More

It's hard to rate the IMMA. Every tiem you go there wyou see something completely different (I think they change their exhibits every 3 months). I wouldn't be a huge fan of modern art in general, but I *have* seen some seriously interesting stuff in there. In fact I've seen stuff that made such an impression on me that I've... More

This is right next to my Dublin office and I ate lunch here twice. The had the best soup and soda bread in the area. The museum is a nice as well. I preferred to walk the grounds more than indoors. But lovely none the less. More
