The long hall was great, despite the no photos policy. The main exhibit on the Book of Kells was cool, the book itself was just okay. We got in free, otherwise its a bit overpriced. the book was cool looking - the one page they have it open to that you get to see. other than that it was a pretty boring exhibit, and not as magnificent as I had expected. A must see because of the history, but do not skip others for this. more

This was our first visit upon arrival in Dublin and we got in at 10:30am. There weren't a lot of people so we got a lot of time to really look at the books and to explore the upper library.
