In older time there was a toll of a halfpenny to cross this bridge on foot but it is now free and joins two main parts of Dublin. More

Nice bridge with an interesting story behind it. Once you walk across the bridge, there is nothing extra to do, although you can stand on the bridge and take pictures. This is one of several bridges connecting the two sides of the river. More

This is a wonderful bridge. Look closely when crossing it for the locks in the middle of the bridge of people locking their love. More

The bridge, built as a pedestrian bridge to cross the Liffey for which one paid a half penny, is just west of the O'Connell Bridge. I spent a week in Dublin with my family recently and of course we had to go see and walk across the famous Ha'penny Bridge in downtown Dublin!
