This is quite a dark, small, cramped pub - not the kind of place you'd go alone. For me, a major dampner on the mood was the terribly unfriendly barman - he was maybe in his late 30's, didn't speak a word when taking the order, money or delivering the drinks and change. Came in early on a Saturday night, before it started to get crowded. Plenty of comfortable seating for me and my friends, a quick and gracious barman, and not too noisy. More

This should be your first call in Dublin. A great pub with friendly and cool staff and it's got a great range of booze to chose from. More

Had a few drinks in Anseo with friends when we were in Dublin after they told us how good it was. We weren't disappointed.
