From the approching road, this is a stunning castle set amongst breathtaking scenery. Unfortunatley what you experience inside the abbey is quite different. The grounds and everything on it are extraordinary. You can spend all day exploring. Amazing brilliant attraction. One of my favourite places in the country. Not just an historic site but a boarding school today. Whoever gets to attend or send their children to this place is lucky and well-off indeed. more
