Cookes Thatch Bar is one of Galway's oldest pubs. We are located in the West end of Galway City a 5 minute walk from the centre of the City. Cookes has been welcoming customers through its doors for hundreds of years.

An absolute must if you want to experience the region. Tasty pints and fantastic music is the best way to spend the hours after 10pm on Wed. Nearly a year on, I still remember all the details; the passion and talent of the musicians. Even the locals add the the mix. I find myself trying out some of the local...
