The museum was a little difficult to find as someone had obviously moved the signs, but it was worth looking for!
Very interesting exhibitions - local cinema, history and jewellery.
When we had finished looking around we had a coffee in the very pretty cafe on the ground floor. We regretted having had breakfast as the cafe sold very delectable...

Just not that many things to view: mainly stones from buildings in Galway in the Middle Ages.

It's free, it's clean and has friendly staff. Kids booklet makes it a bit more interesting. Altogether though there isn't much there, it was disappointing.

The museum is very well-designed. Not huge, but it enriched our visit to Galway. Beautiful art galleries take advantage of the riverside location and display art about Ireland. The historical exhibits are interactive and fascinating.
