The house is beautiful but we didn't go inside. Because it was such a glorious day weatherwise we instead just walked around the gardens and they are breathtaking. Saying HUGE trees doesn't even come close to describing them. Just a lovely way to spend part of our morning. You won't be disappointed! More

Muckross House is very nice and the tour is worthy. While it is very nicely explained by tour guides, we thought it was too rushed at times and we didn't have time to admire some of the beautiful things in the house.
