quiet interesting, worth a visit if you in tralee, there is a short 6 mins video about the history of the area which is interesting. 16 euro for four of us...which is ok, staff are nice. Can be breezy so take a jacket.... More

Interesting industrial history and an example of utilisation a renewable energy resource. The gentleman at the counter could be seen in film footage and seemed to have put a lot of commitment into preserving the windmill. He knew his stuff. Interesting information about emigration. Amazing to imagine how things must have changed on that piece of land through the centuries.... More

The visitor centre was interesting, but the Windmill itself was just rooms with ladder steps, and a bit of old equipment. More

We were touring Ireland and found this on one of our journeys to the next destination. The man greeting at reception was a lovely gentleman, and very friendly and talkative. I adore history so I loved the museum and learning a little about the potato famine. Climbing the mill was equally interesting, i'm chuffed we found it! More

As it was off season the heritage centre was closed but the mill is very easily seen from the road,It looked like a ruin to be honest, tied up with big ropes and in need of a good paint job, It is Winter so maybe it will have a refurbish by the time the season starts again! More

First, we visited the windmill only outside. Maybe, if we were inside (we could not manage it in time because of check-out in hostel), the rating would be different. But from outside it is, in my opinion, common windmill with not much good accessbility from Tralee (I have to confess I didn't want to drive on left side of road...) More

We decided to drive 10 minutes out of the way and stop at the Blennerville Windmill. We had our lunch as we walked and looked at the windmill. We did not go in because it did not look like the pictures we saw. It was beat up and run down. They were charging too much to go inside. You can... More

This could be an interesting tour given the age of the windmill but there is very little information on how it works passed on. It's a bit run down. It needs more of a proffesional touch. A guided tour would be great. Still the admission price is reasonable. Worth a look but don't expect to much. More

We visited the windmill and enjoyed the experienced. The mill wasn't operating but the view from the top was lovely. There were few people there on the day we visited which was an advantage as the stairs are narrow and very steep. The museum was very nice and the children enjoyed grinding wheat into flour. Because it is a restored... More
