Visited the lough gur attraction on sunday with my wife and two small children. Its a lovely quiet place. I imagine it would be quite busy come the summer but the place is well maintained with some picnic tables dottted around in different places and lots of dustbins. The visitoe centre is quite small. No idea re value for money... More

lazy Sunday. We came not preparing to stay here and had no accommodation booked but wanted to see what other wonderfull walks were available in the area. We stoped in Bruff, the only village (with in 2km) that had a variety of pubs and resturants to choose from ( who wants to drink drive now!!!). There's an Old Bank house... More
