I recently visited Quaker Island on Lough Ree with 19 others, what a lovely surprise it was. Located on Lough Ree, it is a historic sight of great interest... The remains of 6 old churches remain to be seen on this very small island.. You can catch a boat to the island from the nearby hotel... A trip to Quaker... More
