This was one place I really wanted to visit in Ireland. It truly was amazing. We had to use public transport, so we sadly only got to see Newgrange. We took a bus from busaras in Dublin to drogheda. We then waited for the 1115 bus to Bru na Boinne. Sadly, only 2 buses run between the two places, so... More

As historians we appreciated the preservation of the sites, well-informed guides and the over-all organization of the visits to the sites. The services at the centre were very good and the bus transfer an excellent idea More

What a fantastic experience the megolithic chambers give you to see how advanced the people of the past really were. This is something each individual will have to appreciate for themselves however the visitors centre deserves its own credit. The staff were freindly and very helpful in every section. tickets, transport, guides and probably the best tourist attraction restaurant I... More

The Bru na Boinne Center is a Must See when in, or even near, the area. The interpretive displays of megolithic life are interesting. The guides and bus personnel make every effort to make your visit an enjoyable one. Newgrange is an amazing experience, whether or not your first visit. The guides to the inner chamber of the burial mound... More

Well worth a visit if you come to County Meath Ireland. The river Boyne and history go hand in hand - Castles, historic towns, monuments, old houses - you could spend weeks exploring the area. More

If you also get a chance Make a day of it Visit LOUGHCREW Cairns. They are spectacular and Even more impressive than NEWGRANGE in My opinion. The Views... More

Do the Knowth tour as well as the Newgrange one. That way you get to see things in context and the bigger picture of this special area. This is not the sort of place you can just arrive and see things straight away. Set aside a whole day and arrive either early or, as we did, late in the day... More

Newgrange is just amazing. Older then stonehenge and the pyramids of Egypt. It is just unbelievable to see what people built 3000 years ago. For visitors to Ireland, many of whom just get stuck in Dublin the capital, make an effort to get to see this, it is an hour from Dublin and well worth the 6 euro entrance fee. More
