We had an excellent and informative tour with an enthusiastic guide. This is a very good historical site and the oldest of the tomb complexes in Ireland.

An area of great historical interest, especially to those of us whose ancestors walked this way.
A moving experience for us.
Fascinating information is also displayed at the visitors centre, and we found the staff there very helpful with our enquiries.
Do wear warm clothes as the sites are exposed to the elements - of course this all adds to...

AMAZING. Loved it, so interesting and beautiful. I would advise visitors to wear water proofs and wrap up as it's quite exposed. The tour is taken by people who are genuinely passionate about this celtic period of history and take questions throughout. There is also a great indoors exhibition which puts together the information gathered by historians, archeologists and local...

Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in history and our...

(There are some excellent web-sites that can explain far better than me!)
However, I will...

In one sense, there is almost nothing there -- a vast grassy field dotted here and there with boulders, and on the horizon, low mountains crowned with piles of more stones. In another sense, there is almost all of human history and destiny laid out on...
