We love wood/forest walks and this was perfect.. not too long and not too short, just over an hour. Perfectly placed benches to take in views along the way by the lake.. peaceful. More

“A great walk around the forest”

My dog loves walking here. Quiet and peaceful, the lake is fabulous and kids can let thier imagination take flight. We searched for dinosaurs here!! More

This is a wooded area about 2 miles on the north side of Lough Gill. It has wonderful mpicnic locations, also the Rock House which is an unusual and unexpected rock formation by the lake side. The Hazelwood are also is the location for Hazelwood House which was once the home of the Wynne family who came to live there... More
