We were staying in the Tower Hotel directly across the street from Reginald's Tower so we thought we should check it out! We were glad we did. It is very interesting inside with many historic artifacts. There is narrow winding staircases with three floors, video on the top floor. For only 3euro each in, its well worth a visit! Good... More

we went to see Reginalds tower in waterford.. this is well worth a visit . The lady on the desk was very nice and helpful... the tower its self is fab..it has a winding staircase, you need to be careful, when walking up.. at the top of the tower is a DVD of the history, the tower is well looked... More

Reginald's tower dates back to the 13th century and the site previously had a wooden structure for centuries prior. In the context of the various uses of the building (monastery, military barracks, prison), the history of Ireland and Waterford unfold. The setting makes the experience tangible. I went to Reginald's tower about 20 years ago and it was full of interesting things. On a trip in August I was told that the tower now holds only artifacts that relate specifically to the tower's history, and that the objects that are relevant generally to Waterford had been moved elsewhere.
