Lovely spot, quiet, tranquil and nicely located between Waterford and lovely coastal areas. We stayed in self catering cottages which were really comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We will definitely be back. More

Take off your watch and switch off your phone when you cross on the ferry and enjoy your golf and relaxation. Nice Guinness in the bar and great barfood. Course is quite forgiving for the beginner and pro alike More

Located on an island in the middle of the city,complete with its own castle(Hotel) and only accessed by ferry makes a visit to this golf course a special old worldly experience.The course itself was designed by Christy Jun. and is a test for the good and the average golfer with generous fairways,minimal rough and challenging greens.Water appears occassionally and unexpectantly.The... the setting on the island is ideal - the castle is in brillant repair. great athmosphere - didnt actually stay overnight - but intend to do so soon. Service was excellent. We were made feel right at home. The receptionist was helpful with information etc., More

the castle is just as a castle in a book story,including the hotel the resaturant and the gardens. the golf course it very nice but i dont play golf so i just vizit the club for a drink . the atmosfere it realy medieval and very baroco when u first came inside of the reception. More

It's described as the island haven and it really is, you have to get a ferry to get there, allbeit a chain linked one over maybe a 200 metre stretch, but all the same it makes the place really unique. The island has loads of wildlife, special mention about all the beautiful deer. Anyway, I'll move on the golf course... More

well what can ~I say its true there is no place like home. I cant believe this treasure has only been forty minutes down the road from me for the last 30 years and Ive not been there till now.
