The Sky View Cafe at the Opera House is a hidden gem in Wexford. You get an amazing view out over the town and the water from it's elevated position. We were advised to go here by the Tourist Information people for the views...it is spectacular to see over the buildings to the harbour beyond. The tea and scones (with jam and cream) were especially good!! It is tucked behind the main street but do go...the Opera House itself has a wonderful Walnut floor...there is a lift to the cafe... This was my first visit since the opera house was rebuilt. - I had been in the old one many years ago. The new one is spacious and comfortable afforing an uninterrupted vie of the full sage from where we were seated in the stalls More

We visited after taking a walking tour of Wexford. Food was good, but a few minor changes could help. Club sandwiches had to be disassembled to cut large rinds and fat from the bacon.
