This is a natural rock formation reminiscent of the rocks seen in 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. The area is maintained by the National Trust so we used our touring pass for free car park entry. Great place to spend an hour. Lovely views from climbing the rocks.The visitor centre was shut when we visited but the loos were open!

I've been here a few times with my various dogs, and I have to say it's paradise! Whether you decide to stay on the footpaths, or decide to explore yourself, you don't have to have a dog to enjoy the scenery or the fantastic rocks.

A lovely palce to visit and picnic and loads to do for children and Adults alike. It gets very busy in the summer so best to avoid weekends. Ideal for anyone who loves the countryside and walking and climbing. Children love it.
