This park is nice to walk round or relax if the weather is fine, we use it alot as part of our route in the good weather.
The kiosk is a bit dated, as is crazy golf.
The little train looks great for the kids and the park too.
The only thing to be aware of is in the school...

5 minutes from my house so go there frequently. A great place to walk around. The old reservoir is home to many ducks, geese, swans, coots etc. If you are really energetic you can walk from Coate to Chiseldon (across the M4 via footbridge). There is a childrens sandy play area with swings , slides etc that is well maintained....

We love Coate Water, it is such a lovely place, either for a nice walk or run, day out with the family, or just to people watch.
Great location and it caters for all. You have a lovely little shop that sells food and drink, there is a lovely park for children, small steam trains for children and adults, crazy...

I go here all the time. It is lovely. Walk around the lake, play in park with kids or play cray golf (that does incur a small charge) But everything is free. WHat more could you want? Great for oicnics

In close proximity of Jn 15 M4, this park offers great walks, although these can be a bit soft under foot in wet weather. Plenty of wild life and has its own resident Herons.

A lovely place for a wander either on sunny or cold days. Great to have somewhere so central in Swindon that can make you feel like you're way off in the middle of the country!

this place is a lovely place where you can take a walk and if you have a dog you can even take them for walks around the park too. In the summer times they also have a pool area and a kiosk where you can get beverages
