I had a beginners ski lesson here with a friend and it was so much fun. Neither of us has skiied for 17 years but it came back to us. Going on the travelstor ski lift was pretty funny too. Highly recommended !

Its my kids that go to this - but they always have a great time in preparation for our skiing holiday. A regular place to go for a treat. I enjoy watching them through the huge windows onto the piste, whilst having a coffee! Ski hire easy and large lockers to store your clothes.

Just had my first hour snowboarding lesson yesterday and fully enjoyed it. Our instructor Alex was very patient and knowledgable, a pleasure to take advice from. There was 6 of us in the group and plenty of room on the slope for us to learn and fall in some cases. Overall everyone at the end of the hour was a...

Completed levels 1-4 in 2 x 3 hour sessions. Instructors were good but the groups were too big with 3 or 4 other groups all trying to use the same area.

I wanted to brush up on my skiing skills as I was 3 years out of practice. The lesson I booked was well priced, the instructor - professional and fair. I will definitely return.
Bits of advice - take gloves, scarf and warm socks, also £1 for the locker as you need to put away your personal belongings and the...

For a start the two booking desks were a great time saver. Prices are reasonable and well worth it! After we got our chlothing we went onto collect our skis and boots. The staff in this section were very polite and friendly, they really made me smile and they joked around with the kids. We had a few issues with...

Real snow indoors and an ideal venue for beginners learning to ski. Also a good place to get your ski balance ready for a holiday.
Good skiers will find this slope too small and one hour a year is possibly enough.
Inside the dome the atmosphere is nil and sometimes the snow is not in good condition. More often than...

Tired kit - poor quality 'snow' it just has an unloved and under-funded feel to it.

I went for 4 hours snowboarding over half term which cost £40. The slope is a straight down slope as opposed to the dog leg at Snowdome, Tamworth. The run is almost twice as wide but the same length. The first thing I noticed was the snow quality. It is firm underfoot but with a good layer of soft powder...
