We went to Cobtree Manor Park with our Toddler for somewhere different to go to, having heard locals rave about the Old Zoo we decided to go and check it out. Found this by accident, started on a walking path along the golf course within the park and came across the lovely gardens, trees and onsite ruins of the old zoo.
On-site cafe open till 3pm generally, and a wide range of picnic and seating areas.
Plenty of parking on-site and not far from the A road turnoff.
