The view of Lancaster from the memorial is stunningly different every day. The park is beautifully kept and there always seems to be something going on, dog shows, outdoor theater, music, battle re-enactments(!) A trip to the park is my dogs favourite day out!!

We had lunch in Lancaster and walked from the centre of town up to Williamson Park, amazing views from the top of the Park and the Butterfly house is worth a visit.

This park is fantastic. The view from the top of the Memorial is wonderful, well worth the climb. Excellent.

We went for a walk here on sunday morning. The Ashton memorial is very impressive. Such a lovely relaxing place.

Williamson's Park is kept lovely and clean, there is a good park with lots of things for kids to play on. Lots of grassy areas to play football (with a toddler - not football pitch size!).

Willaimson Park is a very pretty park hign on the outskirts of Lancaster. It has a range of paths and walks and some fantastic views of Morcambe Bay and the Lake District. There is a Butterfly House which is well worth a visit, a cafe and the Ashton Memeorial, a beautiful building which makes a wonderful and memorable Wedding Venue...

Williamson Park has great views across Morecambe bay and on a clear day you can see the Cumbrian mountains, There are paths and large areas of grass, suitable for picnics. There's a playground, a cafe and a butterfly house. It is one of the reasons I love Lancaster.
