Have been a few times to this unusual place. The pub itself hasn't changed much, still very interesting. The food/restaurant part in the extention has gone a bit upmarket. Personally I prefered the old 'pub meals' menu. There are lovely walks to go on in the location too. More

Having been subject to mining subsidence over the years, absolutely NOTHING is straight & level here. Its a really fun place to visit, with balls which roll up hill (apparently) on the windowsill and wobbly floors. After a couple of pints you are really thrown! More

This is the 2nd time recently we have eaten at crooked house.
