Grew up with the park 5 minutes walk away so it has always been special to me. I live out of the area now but still return to visit when i see relatives. The museum has been refurbished and the grounds tidied up, the only annoyance is the introduction of pay and display car parks. It's ok for me as... More

Cusworth Hall could be wonderful as it has a great Kenwood House feel about it. It just isnt used with any imagination at all. just opening the doors and expecting people to be amazed is not good enough. There is simply nothing much to do there. The grounds are lovely but they really need to rethink this place as a... More

the grounds around the house are brilliant, two large lakes are based across the bottom of the hill that was once used to keep deer, there is a childrens play area near the car park. overall it is a good relaxing time away from home and in a nice old fashioned part of town More

This is a perfect little spot to potter and play with the family or wonder and stroll around to reflect. The gardens and small lakes have all been restored to as they were in the 1700's. Flower bends, tree and waterfowl and not to mention 'the hill'. Whilst Doncaster is flat, Cusworth Hall is not, so its perfect for cardiovascular... More

The museum is all about life in the area in fairly recent times. The grounds are good for a walk around and as a start of longer walks in the countryside around. The cafe's worth a visit on it's own. More

Having met my partner here 6 years ago, we had never been into the hall, so we took the opportunity to visit. Parking is a bit pricey and there is a £2 per adult charge to get in, we werent that interested in the way of living museum, more interested in the rooms, architecture etc and for that reason it...
