the grounds around the house are brilliant, two large lakes are based across the bottom of the hill that was once used to keep deer, there is a childrens play area near the car park.
overall it is a good relaxing time away from home and in a nice old fashioned part of town

We live close by and visit regularly or a walk around the gardens and to call in for a cup and brunch/lunch/afternoon tea. Fantastic views over the town great walks. Please note there is a charge for the car perk whatever the time or day!

This is a perfect little spot to potter and play with the family or wonder and stroll around to reflect.

The museum is all about life in the area in fairly recent times. The grounds are good for a walk around and as a start of longer walks in the countryside around. The cafe's worth a visit on it's own.

Having met my partner here 6 years ago, we had never been into the hall, so we took the opportunity to visit.
