We were so sad to see the state of Wythenshawe Hall (15/04/12) broken windows and boarded up. We hope in the future to be able to see its interiors.

My husband and I got married in the Grandfather Room at Wythenshawe Hall 10 years ago and it was just lovely. I was new to Manchester and knew very little about it so was completely taken with it.

I've lived in Wythenshawe for 60 years and I have visited the hall on numerous occasions. The parkland is a beautiful green expanse with small coppiced wooded areas. There ia a safe playground for the children to play; a running farm with goats,pigs sheep, cattle, rabbits,horses and lots of wild fowl. There is also a gardening/nursery area. A duck pond...
