Scruffy and needs a new roof what more can you say. Needs money spend on it. More

It's SO run down and seedy. The roof leaks and everywhere looks dirty. I love all the old parts - the wooden ticket office and the outside of the cafe area but really it needs some TLC - and money!- spending on it to make it an attraction. More

The train station is old and very cold. The toilets are grubby and smelly. The trains that leave from here are also old, and mostly are only hourly. There are no major routes leaving from this station. The best thing about it is the tram to Piccadilly. More

One of the worst major railway stations in Britain. Gents toilets appalling or closed due to ongoing "misuse". More

Victoria is right in the City Centre. Two minutes from the Shambles and also access to the MEN Arena. More

5 minutes walk to the Arndale Shopping Centre, Marks & Spencer and Selfridges. More

It's clearly a lovely old building but seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. It always strikes me as being dark and dull and there are often long queues of people arriving from trains where they've been unable to purchase tickets (e.g. no ticket office at small stations & no tickets available on the train) More

Bit old fashioned but does the job and most importantly, the MEN is nearby. More

It is like stepping back in time going into the station forecourt. They have kept the oriiginal ties., booking offices etc More
