i feel there's quite a bad atmosphere at the buddhist centre due to unfriendliness of quite a few receptionists/practitionersworking there. i've been really put me off the centre and off buddhism after this experience. theres an air of superiority/pretentiousness/snobbishness which is quite embarassing. i thought this was against buddhist principles.i expected a warm friendly place to relax not cold and... A visit to the Manchester Buddhist Centre is a lovely experience. Walking through the doors into the centre you emmediatley feel that your everyday stresses fall away and be replaced with a feeling of calm as you wonder around.
