Visited 13 May. Delighted with the theatre, which was just the right size so that wherever you sit you are not far away from the stage and therefore you get a good view. Very impressed with the bar service at the interval, where the bar staff were quick and efficient enough to ensure everyone was served speedily and had plenty... More

Coffee here is really nice, food overpriced though and not a very good selection either. Basic pub grub at inflated prices. Had to laugh at the fact that it tries to promote itself as an upmarket establishment yet it has £9.99 Ikea coffee tables which are full of scratches and dents. Come on, at just under £10 for a burger,... More

Interesting displays and informative notes but overall no atmosphere. Enjoy Annie Lennox music but thought the display lacked purpose or focus More

The Lowry Theatre is one of the nicest theatres in Manchester. Its very clean and modern inside. No matter which seat you get its a good one. I have always found the staff very friendly and keen to help. Outside the theatre there are bars and restaurants so you can make a night of it if you go to see... More

Visited as we were gtaking my neice to the Ballet. A lot of the units were empty but some bargains to be had in the ones that were open. Easy to find, easy to park and a great evening at the theatre. We were in the 'cheap' seats but even so had a great view and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.... More

I specially went to Manchester and this was a key part of the visit. The gallery is very small and was full of noisy school children. It was so bad I cut my visit short and didn't really see much. I complained at the time but the staff didn't seem to be bothered. If you are going avoid any time... More

We like to visit this popular theatre because it is easy to get to and park. There are some good value restaurants (well known chains) very close by and hotels within easy walking distance. The setting is by the Manchester Ship Canal with the new MediaCity and BBC next door. Nice for an evening stroll (great sunsets) before the theatre. More
