Whenever we have visitors we usually take them to the Imperial War Museum and walk across to the Lowry Centre. As someone says elsewhere the parking isn't cheap at either place but in the daytime you can see both attractions from 1 car park and entrance to both is free or donation. This review is of the Lowry Centre, not the Lowry Hotel. I had great hopes for the Lowry when it opened but these have fallen away. The centre often has exhibitions worth seeing and in the evening there is a fine range of theatre and music. Its theatres are very good indeed, with the larger one being outstanding for opera.... more

The previous reviewer is refering to the Lowry Hotel whereas this attraction is the Lowry Centre in Salford Quays. It houses an Art Gallery, Theatre, Restaurant, bars and small shops/qiosks.
