Jean Claude Werner was out tour guide for the four hour tour. We visited the HAUT-KOENIGSBOURH CASTLE that was an outstanding original and renovated castle. The Wine Tour also took us to the towns of RIQUEWIHR and RIBEAUVILLE where we did a wine tasting from some of the locally grown grapes. We also toured the vineyards and the quaint town....

There aren't a lot of tours of the Route des Vines in Alsace, and not driving yourself is essential if you want to sample the wines. LCA Toptour offered a range of full and halfday tours, and they are very good. Our driver guide was a member of a local winegrowing family, fluent in English and very helpful. We ended...
