The museum was very nice with many exhibits of the region's history. There was much quaint stuff on display. And, from them I purchased a 10 E museum pass good for most of Strasbourg's museums for the one day, so I visited more.

Many interesting exhibits from rich Alsatian history. This area was long time part of Germany, and then part of France, and then Germany again and then France... So many interesting things to see!

This museum is located in a number of connected old houses in Strasbourg. As a result the rooms are a bit like a rabbit warren and the themes are confusing to follow. Of course it is authentic and the displays of what life was like are right there in the setting. I particularly liked the rooms with displays about Jewish...

Nice and cozy museum, achieves what it sets out to and then some. Conveniently located (but what isn´t in Strasbourg) and good for both a quick browse of a longer tour.

Museum is much larger than one would think. I thought Museum would be essentially a couple of rooms with furniture....it was so much more. Audio guide explains the history of region. Be sure to get audio guide. Allow at least one hour or so for the visit.

Sounds boring, but actually turns out to use very clever audio visual technology to bring to life the early histroy of the city and region.

The Musee Alsacien didn't take much time or money. It's a MUST SEE to appreciate the history of the area. The museum is set up in a historic home that gives you the sense that you are stepping back in time. Exhibits are carefully arranged. Plaques were written mostly in French so if you don't know French you might find...

This museum was interesting and concise. It covered the history of the Alsace region with a lot of visual items. It was good with the kids, because they could go at their own pace -- there are booklets to lead you through the museum in several languages (French, German and English that I saw). It was definately worth a visit...

It is a museum to understand how people alsacian lived in the past. It is a reconstitution of a house of old times.

The museum offers a history on the lives of Alsatian people from the 13th to 19th centuries. The building is quiet extraordinary as all the rooms are connected by staircases and balconies in adjacent multistory structure with a gorgeous central courtyard.
