Includes a couple of vegetarian meals on the menu and very tasty as well. Relaxed informal cafe style atmosphere and always seemed busy. Great service even when we expected a wait. They were happy to adapt things on the menu to diners taste and did so efficiently. If you need a menu in English they can do that as well.

Arrived to Bordeaux quite late, and saw this church lit up on a central square. Was surprised that such a beautiful, ancient classic structure had been converted into such a groovy food and art house movie theatre. The Utopia in Bordeaux has become somewhat of an institution for locals.
It's situated in the Place Camile Julian, which is a square just off the main shopping road 'rue saint catherine'. The building itself use to be an old church, with the prinicpal and largest cinema (there are 5) being the original altar.
