The fountain is a great place to take the kids during the summer, water sprouts up the kids get all wet. Its a great place to sit and take a break while the kids play. Make sure you have bathing suits and towels handy :) More

I thoroughly enjoyed wandering around here despite the almost continual April showers,very close to the old part of Bordeaux with its narrow lanes and great restaurants and just over the road is the mighty Garonne river. Walk by to appreciate the beauty of the buildings by day or night. Water mirror was not working when I was there (beginning of March 2012), but no doubt it is magical. The Place is right next to the Garonne and there are plenty of restaurants in the area for a lovly outdoor meal. More
