If you are in Pau and you dont walk down the boulevard des Pyrenees then you are really missing out. better still stop at the excelllent ice cream shop close to the Chateau and get a Glace or a milkshake and sit and relax in the sun

Boulevard des Pyrenees is a wonderful place to stroll in the afternoon and evening. You can ride the free funiculaire to get to the train station.
On a clear day you can see the Pyrenees.
