Interesting aquarium but very pricey unless you live in France and have a lot of visitors so that you can use a season / familly ticket. I didn't like the layout and I think that Nausica at Boulogne is much nicer. More

This is set by a beautiful port. It has 3 sections, cold (with penguins and seals) and tropical (sharks and lovely colourful fish). It's packed full of interesting information and has a couple of gift shops and some places to eat. A great day out. Highly recommended. It can be rather busy during the holidays though. More

We went during a wetish day and could not get in past 10am due to overcrowding (park at max). Was told to return at 2pm. Went back and then queued for 45 mins to get in. Relatively expensive for a family of 3 (2A+1C) and, to be honest, not the best aquarium we have visited - St Malo and La... More

We came to Brest for a break from our tent and fancied this would be a great attraction. It's a bit patchy to be honest. At 16.50 per adult, it's quite pricey and most of the information boards are in French despite the brochure/flier thing it saying they're in English as well as French. Boyfriend was impressed by the sharks... More

we visited Oceanopolis while staying in Brittany on a rainy day In mid September . Its a an interesting day out with some really spectacular tanks and thousands of species. I was impressed by the research institute feel throughout Oceanopolis which does give it a feeling of depth . I can see why some say the place isnt fun when... More

At 16.50 € / adult this attraction was not cheap but we thought it had a good reputation so we decided to join the l.o.n.g....... line to pay. Once inside every attraction was met by a long line to get in and then the place was so jam packed that you couldn't get close enough to see the aquarium displays.... More

Loved it! - Possibly one of the best aquariams I have been to. Great day out! My 1 1/2 year old did get a bit bored in the pushchair, but my 4 month old, myself and my husband want to go again! Here are a handy hints for enjoying your day at Oceanopolis: 1) It was really busy when we... More
