Once again, a very popular attraction, but once you're there, you see why people gravitate to this; visually stunning and begging the question, "why did they do it?" Enjoyed this experience immensely. Unfortunately no guided tour was available during our visit, so we grabbed a map from the Tourism Office and made our way to the sites by ourselves. The scale of this attraction is almost beyond comprehension when you consider when it was constructed. The centre attached is also definitely worth a look. The only pity is that you cannot walk around the stones. More

The major site is fabulous but it is well worth wandering beyond into some of the smaller areas where you have direct access to wandering among the menhirs - look at the map of them and expore widely leaving a full day at least. We took 5 hour days there to wander. More
