We spent a pleasant April afternoon here. It was very quiet when we visited, which made the walk around the well laid out and maintained Zoo very relaxing.
The Falconry display, held in the Chateux Gardens was enjoyable, and the birds on display all looked in immaculate condition. The feeding of the huge pack of dogs was also entertaining.

The Zoo is nicely laid out and the price reasonable, although a large family may find the cost a little prohibitive. A tour of the Chateau - separate tours in French and English - is excellent, as is the Birds of Prey display and feeding of the hounds.

On our two previous trips to Brittany we have visited La Bourbansais and made the trip again recently.
It has a great mix of attractions and there is something for everyone to use the cliche. The entry fee for all the attractions is reasonable and you can easily fill a full day here. Picnics are allowed and it is easy...

We've been to Bourbansais on our last two trips and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
An easily manageable animal collection set in stunning grounds it's easy to spend several hours here. There's plenty for families to, including an outstanding falconry display.
If you're visiting as an adult couple it's worth considering the tour of the Chateau. It doesn't take long but...
