We were two of only 3 people visiting that say - very quiet but uninterrupted views of the tanks a repeat visit and wills till go again
After visiting 4-5 aquariums in Europe we tried also the one in Saint Malo. We was quite deceived about it: not very big, not special animals but it was quite crowded. The Nautibus (the "submarine") is really basic (however it is "do-able" by claustrophobic persons), and the touch-basin attraction is not interesting at all: the little animals are in the... More
We saw the sign at the port for the aquarium and looked at the map and thought, that's not too far!! How wrong were we, took us 1.5h to walk. The aquarium was positioned in a retail park type area, this had a good few eating aces and a lovely smelling bakers too. When we entered the aquarium we went... More
Excellent with good value for money gives great experience, Well presented, well organised. Ideal for children & far better than London Aquarium. Good educational experience.
Decided to visit while in St Malo for the day en route elsewhere. This attraction sells itself by advertising the submarine experience so we were very excited about our 2 year old daughter's impression of this, knowing how much she has always loved seeing fish swimming in an aquarium. Maybe we chose the wrong time and day to go -... More
This is listed as a MUST see attraction. I took my wife, daughter and 6 year old granddaughter to see what was on offer. Firstly it is not cheap and for 3 adults and 1 child circa €50 is a bit on the high side. It is very suitable for young children who may not have seen other aquariums of... More
Great for all ages. Great value for money most aquariums are over priced with nothing to sew but this was quite the oppisite. Beautiful tanks of different under water animals amd even a submarine experience. all staff were lovely speaking good english. Food was a let down nothing seemed to be in stock good job we were only looking for... More
We had a great morning at the aquarium, it was bigger than others we've visited in Brittany, and took us a good two hours to walk around. Feel we probably missed the best bit as my daughter point blank refused to get into the submarine, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the sharks and stroking the rays. I would thoroughly recommend... At 16€ per head I think it is a little on the expensive side in terms of value but we had an interesting few hours and the staff on the submarine ride were very helpful in helping my wife, who uses a walking stick, to board the vessel.
The submarine was out of order, I guess thats where you see the exciting fish, the place needs a refresh its a little tatty, There was some interesting items, but lets face it, you go to an aquarium to see the big fish and apart from a couple of bigish sharks swimming around and around in a tank that surrounds...
